This small state-of-the-art emergency medical services facility includes a community/training room, two ambulance bays and a residence for the on-duty technicians all housed in a small building designed to blend in with the surrounding residential area.

For the design of this addition to a historic structure, Hutchins Associates, P.C. elected not to attempt exact matches of materials. Instead readily available yet complementary textures and colors were used.

Addition to Hamblen County Courthouse - Morristown, Tennessee

The historic Hamblen County Courthouse is over 200 years old and the addition of office space for the County required an obvious sensitivity and careful consideration of existing conditions.  The addition was achieved using similar details, matching fenestration styles and a connecting entry/lobby element.
